Narrowing Your Home Search

 

Here are some items to think about so we can effectively narrow the number of homes you would like to see:

List Price - Your lender will help you determine this price based on what you would like to spend per month. Avoid overstretching the list price in your search, as sellers on average only negotiate 1-3% off of their list price. There are exceptions to this that we can talk about based on time on market and past history in MLS.

Location - Let us know if you have a favorite community or if you will have a longer commute and need access to the freeway. Minimizing drive times is very important when it comes to spending more time enjoying your home and less time driving to and from it.

Schools - If you have a school preference or need to research school accountability ratings, visit the Texas Education Agency website at www.tea.state.tx.us.

Home Details - We will ask for your preferences on one story vs. two, master bedroom upstairs or down, number of garage spaces, wanted extra rooms such as study or gameroom, preferred age of home, and approximate square footage.

Lot Description - Larger lot, lake front, acreage, wooded, patio lot, or cul-de-sac are all great options to define.
