A Signed Contract

After all the negotiations are agreed upon by you and the sellers, the final changes are made to the contract and the contract is signed. Typically the seller is the last to sign the contract, and when they do so they enter the date, which is known as the Execution Date.

Once the contract is signed by all parties, they are legally committed to the terms of the contract.

The Execution Date starts the clock ticking for the Option Period, which begins with Day 1 being the next complete day.

The signed contract will be delivered with your earnest money check to the title company.

Your option check will also be delivered to the seller within 2 days.

Your lender will be looking to receive a copy of the signed contract as soon as possible so they can get started with your loan process!
